Live Music Video

Challenge

Richie reached out to us to capture a live solo performance of "Hallelujah" (Leonard Cohen) which was to be broadcast on News 12 Long Island by the Long Island Hall of Fame Concert Series during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic - as a dedication to the frontline workers.

Solution

Intrigue Studios shot and produced a very intimate performance video in such a way that the viewer would feel like they were right there in his studio with him. By setting up multiple stationary cameras (due to Covid restrictions) and then animating the camera angles, we were able to create a very dynamic final edit, even though there was only a skeleton crew onsite.

*SIDE NOTE: Richie owns and runs one of the greatest professional recording studios in the world. Check out Cove City Sound Studios here.
